Team Sewer & Water

Here's a nice photo from a recent sewer line repair in Meriden CT. Pete had to replace the existing old clay sewer pipe with new 4" Schedule 40 PVC, as the existing clay sewer lateral from the house to the street main had cracked, and was full of tree roots from many years of overgrown trees in the area. Traffic was s bit of a problem for us as we were digging up the street at the corner of W Main St and Lewis Ave in the center of downtown Meriden. While we were there we checked the condition of the homeowner's 1 inch copper city water line, and it seemed to be in good condition so Pete just backfilled the open trench will clean gravel.
